BRING THE RAIN!! Excellent work. Strong and really captures the eyes attention and draws it over the whole piece. I did notice that there is a slight unbalance on the left side with all the space there, possible needs some light background landscape for perspective and a little more depth...maybe some clouds or mountains or cityscape...something. This piece is dynamic and detailed but I might suggest that more rain interaction on the overall...more splashes on the armor and helmet and face, and I dont know if its just me or is the right eye off a wee bit. Love it and envious of your skill. Cheers bro!
Hey Mike, First off, I gotta admit my bias. I love Thor. The piece is very strong, full of power and energy. Thor looks like he is about to face Jormungand, and do his worst! Areas that stand out to me as off, or in need of possible adjustment are the hammer and the rain. The hammer shaft seems to be a little too thin. The massive weight of the head appears a bit precarious above Thors head. With a heavier shaft (please dont read anything into all these 'shaft' references ) that would not appear to be an issue. It also seems to be places a little off center (too far forward). The rain effect on his person is pretty good. The overall rain fall seems like it should be reflecting more light. The rain itself is not very apparent. I love the overall feel of the piece, and details such as the armour. Those couple things I mentioned would be a pretty easy fix in Photoshop, and really do not hamper the image to any extensive degree. All in all fantastic work, keep it up! ~BoS
