REALLY well done! I like the character style...a bit Romita-esque am I right? And dude, Eiffel tower wha...? But then again, it seems like just the kind of weirdity that the FF would get sucked into, and that Spidey would love to come for the ride! The depictions of all their powers (it took me three glances to realize Sue's torso was floating in mid-air) is really nicely added without being too exaggerated or unnatual. The touch of Spidey's web still dangling off the tower is an excellent choice to make this image seem more like a real snapshot and less like an artificial pose. And the perspective on Reed's arm is really impressive — it looks completely realistic, especially given how hard it must've been to draw when it's wound around Spidey like that!
I can't begin to tell you how much I love this. Classic Marvel look of Spidey and the First Family. Great composition, great color, Ben looks awesome and you put in the flying bathtub, MY FAVORITE!!!! A beautiful piece of work!
Can't remember if you answered this already, but...Is there a reason that you switched from acrylic to watercolor or do you still use both depending on the assignment? Seems like the recent watercolor pieces have some more refinement in the rendering and are less reliant on the pencil drawings showing through for defining the form,am I right?
Yet another amazing piece. Your paint work on this is very well done. Love your portrayal of Spidey. It has that very clean look, reminiscent of Romita Sr. While I would've loved seeing, say, the Empire State Building in the bg, your Eiffel Tower is sweet! Diggin' it!
