This piece has really strong line work. The solids are placed very well and the use of the brush is very well realized. I think the dudes face is a little too subdued. Perhaps he is in so much shock at the fact that his leg is being masticated by a 12 foot tall man-ape-thing.. which is really well rendered and very fierce looking. At any rate I think he could be more distressed somehow. The only other area that glares at me is where the monsters left foot sits on the shadow... it appears to almost float on that large black area in the bottom right of the image. Maybe some grass interweaving with his toes would help that.

I have become newly acquainted with your work and I really enjoy all of it. This is a great piece. I hope my critique is of use to you.
