I love how you overall created Mystique, although the I feel as though the coloring for Wolverine isn't as great. Great composition overall though.

Awesome super dynamic stuff as usual! Mystique's skin and latex are perfect. Could use a furrow on her brow and nose bridge.
Wolvie's uniform wrinkles, seams, muscles, veins all look great. He seems a little more happy than feral. If (and only if) his pose is supposed to be symmetrical, then his left arm is coming out at 90 degrees, but right elbow seems aimed way back behind him. Do people grow hair on inner biceps?
(Sorry if I got too critique-y!)

Great head/neck/shoulders for Mystique there. And yay for Wolvie having the good ol' three-claws-per-hand.

i love the piece, specially how you can make that latex shine and Mystique pose. I think Wolverine arm's are to short.... but truly awesome work

I loved Mystique that you did, but I really think Wolverine is the low quality. :(

I think you are right. That Wolvie is not as nice of a figure as I would have liked. But, I wanted to post all my Mystique covers on DA eventually, so here it is.

After 15 design test and "stand by", finally the Valis V web site it's online, at the moment only the Story and Characters profiles sections are availables, comming we upload the game system explanation, some images in-game and maybe wallpapers, in the profiles you can see some artwork re-painted and some characters artwork not showed in DA yet.

I love this image. The colors are beautiful as always and the pose is wonderful. I especially love how you can make that latex shine. The only thing I really see that I would suggest needing fixing is Mystique's brow. Her face is showing anger, snarling or whatever, but there's no strain in her eyebrows. The brows should be furrowed when making that face.

It's a wonderful piece.

Totally awesome work as always, just one question...
Are you using the acrylics like water colours?
I'd really like to know your method. :P

yes, a lot like watercolor. Only difference is that acrylic stays put, whereas watercolor can be "lifted" from the paper after you put it down.

Ah, so it's even less forgiving then watercolour?
You make it look easy.
