Please don't not request to color my B&W artwork. Unfortunately, when you do that, it ends up on the web in a search for my name, looking like I did the color art. Thank you for your understanding.

The wait is over!  This Wednesday you can finally see George Lucas' THE STAR WARS brought to life!

In 1974 George Lucas wrote a screenplay called THE STAR WARS.  It proved to be too much for a movie production at the time.  But, it all starts here!  This is the story that inspired George to create ILM.  This is the story that spawned Darth Vader and Luke Skywalker, but presented them in wildly different ways.  This is the original mind blowing, genre bending space opera that led to a revolution in cinema, science-fiction, and storytelling.

THE STAR WARS is an eight issue mini adapted by Jonathan Rinzler, with art by me, colors by Rain Beredo, and lettering by Michael Heisler from Dark Horse Comics.

I believe there will be a digital version available for purchase/download.

I'm almost done with #4, and I can assure you each issue is better than the last.  Each issue has new and different environments, expanding the scope of this universe.  Each issue has more intense and emotional character developments.  Each issue has more action than the last!

Be sure to get to your comic store on Wednesday.  I don't want to hex it, but I have a feeling this one is going to sell out very quickly.  I truly believe people have no idea what they are in for, and when they can finally read the issue, they'll be begging for more!

Or, get the digital version here:

Thanks for taking the time to read this!  And, tell a friend!

fantastic quality to your work, the light and shadows and the basic superlative mastery of line and composition. your comic pages are like a series of finished paintings in their own genre! I am a fairly new fan of comic art and love your work.

Mind posting your work from Upper Deck, Marvel Premier if you have scans? Curious how many sketch cards you did. Nice work!
